At FCP Euro, the Make Level Marketer plays a key role in connecting our products and solutions with the communities and customers who can benefit from them. Drawing on industry knowledge, marketing experience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of automotive mechanics, you will serve as a crucial link between FCP Euro and our customers. Your insights will help shape both product and marketing strategies, guiding critical decision-making processes as part of the larger Porsche Product Team, including the Porsche Group Director, Product Manager, and Product Associate. As the FCP Euro brand representative for Porsche within the community, you'll ensure our offerings resonate with and are communicated to these specific audiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, excelling at meeting deadlines and working collaboratively across teams.

You will collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing and Brand Marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and make-specific content, including DIYs, repairs, social media reels, community events, and brand promotions. In addition, you'll manage the Porsche Market Penetration Strategies, a critical aspect of FCP Euro’s growth initiatives for your assigned make. Working alongside Content, Creative Services, SEO, and Performance Marketing teams, you’ll research, script, produce, and schedule a variety of technical content, including buyer’s guides, DIYs, and more. As the primary creator of technical documentation that drives the Market Penetration Strategy ("MPS") process, you’ll play a key role in shaping FCP Euro’s go-to-market strategy for specific makes, platforms, and product lines. The Make Level Marketer will also serve as the lead on-screen talent for technical diagnostic videos, buyer’s guides, promotional content, and more.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the overall MPS process and projects for your Make Group, ensuring completion by project deadlines
  • Create technical plans and documentation that support the FCP Euro Market Penetration Strategies for your assigned makes
  • Act as primary on-screen talent for Buyers’ Guides, Technical videos, and select DIY and other produced content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing departments to implement and utilize go-to-market strategies for Make Group MPS projects. This includes product launches, key DIY projects, repairs, guides, and promotions centered on specific chassis and platform ownership. 
  • Oversee branding and positioning strategies to understand customer needs and demands for the make in order to enhance the segment's visibility in the community and marketplace
  • Coordinate and communicate new product launches, product solutions, and trends to stakeholders inside product and marketing teams for consideration and campaign planning
  • Participate and be present in all relevant online arenas when necessary (forums, groups, social channels), to increase brand visibility and research community, make, brand trends and opportunities 
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the product group, relaying customer feedback and needs to drive continuous improvement and product development
  • Act as the tactical and strategic bridge between the product and digital / brand marketing teams. You will support and collaborate digital and brand marketing plans across various channels, aiming to maximize engagement and achieve business goals. This collaboration will revolve around fostering robust customer relationships and driving customer retention within your designated segment, ensuring marketing plans are precisely tailored to target markets and personas. When necessary, you will support the Brand Marketing team at experiential events nationwide.

Experience and Skill requirements

  • Minimum 3 Years working in the Automotive and/or Marketing industries, with extensive hands-on Make-Specific knowledge and technical understanding of Porsche vehicles and the communities that own them
  • Able to perform on camera in long and short-form video, in order to engage and connect with the Porsche automotive community
  • Excellent written communication for internal and external audiences, with the ability to translate complex technical information for varying customer proficiency levels 
  • Proficient in brand and product marketing techniques and strategies to drive customer awareness and revenue
  • Proficient in using data analytics to optimize and analyze marketing initiatives and shape future performance
  • Project management experience; able to build alignment cross-functionally and drive results
  • Creative, solutions-based mindset 
  • Google Suite/ Microsoft Office
  • Bachelors preferred
  • 15% travel required for events and event support

Compensation

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $88,000 to $132,000 annually
