As our On-Screen Mechanic, you won’t just be working on cars—you’ll be the face of FCP Euro’s DIY and technical content, empowering enthusiasts and weekend warriors to tackle their own repairs with confidence. You must be a skilled mechanic with real-world experience in maintenance, repair, and modifications, as well as a natural communicator who can break down complex repairs into clear, engaging instructions. You are comfortable being on-camera, with the ability to connect with a passionate automotive audience…A true enthusiast who wants to inspire and educate fellow car lovers.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-screen expert for our DIY and technical content, making automotive repairs approachable and engaging.
- Perform and demonstrate vehicle maintenance, repairs, modifications, and diagnostics—both on and off-camera.
- Plan, script, and execute at least three technical/DIY videos weekly, helping viewers take control of their car care.
- Manage parts ordering, tracking, and returns while staying within budget.
- Work cross-functionally to develop DIY kits, fix catalog errors, and enhance product pages with the content you create.
- Maintain an organized and professional workspace that reflects the high standards of the FCP Euro brand.
- Assist in training new hires on workspace procedures and help with company vehicle maintenance.
- Stay connected with our YouTube audience, refining content based on feedback and keeping the passion for cars alive.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- 5+ years as a professional mechanic specializing in European vehicles
- Expert-level mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic skills
- On-camera experience through personal or professional work
- Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate diagnostic and repair processes
- Comfortable as on-screen talent across video, photography, and social media
- Experience in automotive training (a plus)
- Fabrication skills (a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with a knack for step-by-step instruction creation
- Background in automotive or production industries
- Experience with e-commerce backend systems
- Parts ordering/management in a shop or dealership setting
- Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently
- Collaborative team player in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation
This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $55,000 - $85,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $60,000 to $90,000 annually.
