FCP Euro is looking to hire a Sr. Business Technology Analyst to join our growing IT team. The Senior Business Technology Analyst serves as a strategic partner and lead subject matter expert responsible for the overarching governance, optimization, integration, and lifecycle management of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s) and connected enterprise applications. This individual leverages advanced analytical, technical, and leadership skills to architect solutions, mitigate systemic risks, and provide high-level technical advisory across business units. The Senior Analyst champions continuous improvement initiatives, aligning ERP architecture with overarching organizational goals and industry best practices. They will cultivate trusted relationships with senior executives and key business stakeholders, driving the evolution of business processes and system integrations.

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Problem Solving: Lead the identification, investigation, and resolution of complex, cross-functional systemic issues; proactively perform root-cause analysis to mitigate recurring enterprise application bottlenecks.
  • Business Architecture & Process Engineering: Architect and document comprehensive, future-state business processes, maps, data models, and enterprise architecture blueprints across complex organizational ecosystems.
  • Requirements Leadership: Drive stakeholder workshops to uncover hidden needs; translate high-level, ambiguous business strategies into robust, scalable functional and technical software specifications.
  • Project Delivery & Initiative Ownership: Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of major ERP initiatives, including vendor evaluations, third-party add-ons, core module deployments, data migrations, and complex API/middleware integrations.
  • Testing Governance: Define organizational test strategies; architect comprehensive test automation frameworks, regression suites, and oversee the successful execution of cross-departmental User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Continuous Optimization: Formulate and present formal, ROI-driven improvement recommendations to executive leadership concerning business process automation and internal department workflows.
  • Enablement & Governance: Establish enterprise-wide data governance, issue-tracking standards, and change-management protocols. Design advanced training academies and knowledge bases to foster institutional data literacy.
  • Mentorship: Act as an escalation point and technical mentor to Junior Analysts and tier-1 support teams.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience administering and optimizing core ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) alongside complex multi-application integrations.
  • Advanced SQL Competency: Master-level capability in writing complex queries, performance tuning, data modeling, ETL pipeline architecture, and database optimization.
  • BI & Analytics Mastery: Proven track record of developing enterprise-level, predictive data models and interactive dashboards using premium BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma).
  • Agile Leadership: Experience managing product backlogs, structuring epics, and coordinating release schedules by collaborating with in-house and external vendor developers using Jira.
  • QA Automation Blueprinting: Experience architecting end-to-end automated testing infrastructures using frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, or Cypress.
  • System Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of web services, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Celigo, Dell Boomi, Workato), and how multi-tiered enterprise systems pass data synchronously.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder negotiation, change management, and consultative communication skills; able to translate highly technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

 Compensation

This is an exempt role with a base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $71,350 to $91,500 annually.
