FCP Euro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. This position will help grow and evolve FCP Euro’s social media presence through engaging, informative, and culturally relevant content that strengthens our brand, deepens engagement with automotive enthusiasts, and supports broader marketing and business goals.

As the Social Media Specialist, you will serve as the strategic owner of FCP Euro’s social media channels across all major platforms. This position will primarily operate as channel owner - leading social content ideation, production planning, cross-functional coordination, publishing workflows, community engagement, and performance optimization to ensure each platform delivers a consistent, high-quality brand experience.

This role is critical in bringing structure, consistency, and operational excellence to FCP Euro’s social media workflows during a period of rapid business growth. The Social Media Specialist will own workflows within Monday.com while leveraging Sprout Social for publishing, community management, and reporting. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with the Production, Brand, Customer Experience, and HR teams to ensure FCP Euro’s social media presence effectively supports both our customers and broader business initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Social Media Strategy & Channel Planning

  • Develop and evolve platform-specific social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging platforms
  • Define channel objectives, publishing cadence, content mix, audience engagement strategies, and testing opportunities
  • Use historical performance data, trends, and platform insights to guide future content direction and channel growth
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach, and overall social performance

Social Media Calendar & Publishing Management

  • Own the Social Media Calendar within Monday.com, maintaining a clear rolling 45-day view across all channels
  • Manage the end-to-end publishing workflow across all platforms to ensure content is reviewed, approved, scheduled, and published on time
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure social content reflects all key areas of the business including campaigns, events, partnerships, recruiting, customer experience, and company culture
  • Maintain and optimize all platform bios, profile images, links, and CTAs to support current business initiatives and promotions

Content Production & Creative Coordination

  • Lead social media ideation and production planning in partnership with Production, Brand, Events, and Partnerships teams
  • Develop detailed creative briefs and ensure production teams have clear direction, timelines, and deliverables
  • Guide platform-specific content direction and review creative assets to ensure alignment with brand standards and channel strategies
  • Help shape content that is informative, entertaining, culturally relevant, and optimized for platform performance

Community Management & Audience Engagement

  • Serve as the primary lead for FCP Euro’s digital community management across all social platforms
  • Monitor channels daily and ensure strong account coverage 7 days a week
  • Respond to comments, tags, messages, and inquiries in a professional, customer-focused manner
  • Partner closely with Customer Experience teams to escalate and resolve customer concerns when needed
  • Foster meaningful engagement with the automotive enthusiast community and broader audience

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor performance across all social platforms including engagement, reach, audience growth, and content effectiveness
  • Develop recurring reporting cadences and communicate insights to broader marketing teams
  • Use data and learnings to optimize content types, publishing schedules, creative approaches, talent selection, and production workflows
  • Identify trends and opportunities that can improve future content performance and channel growth

Event & Real-Time Brand Coverage

  • Travel to FCP Euro events, activations, and industry gatherings to support real-time social coverage
  • Coordinate with internal teams and freelancers to capture dynamic event and behind-the-scenes content
  • Help showcase the personality, culture, and day-to-day environment of FCP Euro through stories, short-form content, and real-time updates
  • Support broader brand storytelling efforts that strengthen community engagement and authenticity

Experience and Skill requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for lifestyle, automotive, outdoor, enthusiast, or similar brands
  • Passion for cars and strong understanding of automotive culture
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social media platforms for a brand or organization through engaging, platform-specific content and community management
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, tools, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social and Monday.com
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple business units
  • Ability to travel and support events on nights and weekends, including occasional extended event days as needed
  • Experience with photography, graphic design, or video editing tools is a plus, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field preferred
    • Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, especially with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and accomplishments

Compensation 

This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $70,000 to $85,000, depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $75,000 to $90,000.
