The Reverse Logistics Specialist will report to the Reverse Logistics Manager and be accountable for the overall workflow, processes, and efficiency of the day to day reverse logistics operations. This person is primarily responsible for ensuring that all customer returns are dispositioned and processed in accordance with company policy in order to preserve all FCP Euro value propositions. This person will be tasked with allocating and directing team members as needed throughout the day to to complete all critical processes within the team area. Maintaining a positive culture by aligning the team according to work prioritization and organized workflow is a must. This position will need to be a clear and effective communicator in order to swiftly address any potential systemic needs and issues with the department manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Actively coordinate resources throughout the day to address daily processing volume
  • Process customer returns for new and core items
  • Accountable for all daily returns volume processing while keeping the customer our #1 priority
  • Directly responsible for building and coordinating daily transfers of returned inventory
  • Report team, process, or personnel issues to department manager on a timely basis to preserve workflow
  • Maintain a healthy, positive culture by supporting all team member needs
  • Responsible for the overall productivity rates as agreed upon by the strategic direction of the company and department
  • Foster a close working relationship with the Products Team regarding returned items and long term website removal projects with frequent communication
  • Work alongside the Vendor Return Specialist to organize daily, monthly, and annual stock pulls for RTV processing
  • Report and reconcile errors, general department activities, and output on a daily basis
  • Responsible for the overall organization, cleanliness, and safety of the department and individual workspaces
  • Lean into Reverse Logistics Specialists when appropriate for returns processing
  • Monitor returned inventory that is not website active and communicate status with the Products Team
  • Communicate any inventory discrepancies including root cause analysis of potential customer facing errors
  • Provide flex help to other departments within the DC to assist in high priority business objectives
  • Coordinate, operate and share responsibilities with shifts that may not be directly supervised by this person
 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Flexible to cover multiple shifts on any given day of the week week as emergencies arise
  • Is high energy, positive, and motivating
  • Strong organization skills with a healthy sense of urgency and ability to delegate
  • Extensive experience in distribution, logistics, or similar eCommerce space
  • Experience managing large teams, schedules, and operations to meet strategic goals
  • Can effectively communicate, inspire, lead, and fairly delegate 
  • Functional knowledge of computer systems and software, can adapt quickly to new implementations
  • Works well under pressure, juggling conflicting demands so business goals are met
  • Advanced familiarity with WMS or ERP systems with CORESense and SPREE being a plus
  • Direct experience in eCommerce reverse logistics processes and full understanding of how to implement a company’s return policy
  • Strong computer software aptitude using Microsoft and Google suites

Compensation 

  • $21.00+/ hour depending on experience 
  • Quarterly bonus opportunity of $900
