Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Head of Product and Catalog, the Head of Digital Catalog works closely with Make-level Product teams (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc.) to ensure an accurate and optimized catalog that meets our customers’ expectations. This role manages teams in photography, attributes, catalog operations, and product data, leveraging strong leadership, collaboration, and influence to achieve optimal cross-functional outcomes with key partners like Supply Chain, Inventory, Finance, and Service.
Responsibilities
- Catalog SKU Management and Standards:
- Establish and uphold SKU management standards using best practices in master data management, processes, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure SKU quality by maintaining current and effective SKUs that support operations and meet KPIs.
- Lead ongoing inspections to identify and resolve SKU data issues, acting as a steward of SKU data governance and standardization.
- Departmental Leadership:
- Provide leadership to managers and team members in catalog operations, photography, and product data management.
- Serve as a primary liaison with departments such as Supply Chain, Inventory, Finance, and Service to support processes that depend on high-quality product data.
- Team Development:
- Build, grow, and lead the digital catalog team responsible for the customer-facing catalog at FCP Euro.
- Ensure data accuracy and quality in core product applications and optimize site search, sorting, and taxonomy.
- Project Management:
- Establish and manage key projects within the Product and Catalog Team and across departments, aligning stakeholders and fostering cross-departmental collaboration for initiatives impacting multiple areas of the organization.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Proven experience leading teams in managing a high number of SKUs in eCommerce product catalogs.
- Demonstrated project leadership success, overseeing product or project implementations from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams, overseeing other managers, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing large datasets to support customer buying behaviors.
- Bachelor’s degree required; direct experience in the automotive or automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.
Compensation
This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $140,000 - $180,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $185,000 to $240,000 annually.
